Hi, I am Kyle.
Product Designer focused on clarity and real-world use
I’m a Raleigh-based designer with a background in graphic design, branding, and photography, now focused on UX and product design. I’m most interested in solving real-world problems and turning them into digital experiences that feel clear, useful, and easy to navigate.
My visual design background taught me how to communicate through hierarchy, typography, and composition. But working more closely with customers and day-to-day business operations pushed me to think beyond how something looks. I became more interested in where people get confused, why processes break down, and how better systems can prevent those problems before they happen.
That mindset now shapes the way I approach design: understand the problem first, use research to guide decisions, remove unnecessary friction, and let the visual design support the experience rather than compete with it.
Outside of product design, I’m still closely connected to visual work. Photography, branding, and personal creative projects give me room to experiment and keep developing the craft that first drew me to design.

The values
behind my work
Curiosity
I like to understand the why behind a problem before jumping into solutions. Asking questions and challenging assumptions helps me get to what’s actually happening.
Clarity
Good design should make things easier to understand. I focus on simplifying complexity, reducing friction, and helping people move forward with confidence.
Initiative
If I see an opportunity to improve something, I’m comfortable taking ownership and exploring it. I’d rather test an idea and learn from it than wait for a perfect answer.
Craft
My visual design background shapes everything I make. I care about thoughtful details, strong hierarchy, and creating experiences that feel as polished as they are useful.
